Recently, during the 2024 "Zhihui Tongdu Talent Week", Tongling City held the 8th Municipal Vocational Skills Competition Award Ceremony. Zhang Hongli and Yu Xiaoman, employees of the capacitor branch, won the first and second prizes respectively in the capacitor core cover welding (comprehensive group) project of the competition.

This vocational skills competition is hosted by the Municipal Party Committee Talent Work Leading Group, organized by the Municipal Party Committee Talent Work Bureau, Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. Its aim is to deeply implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on skilled talents, accelerate the construction of our city's skilled talent team, fully play the leading and exemplary role of vocational skills competitions in cultivating and selecting skilled talents, and create a good social atmosphere of learning, respecting, and striving to become skilled talents. This competition has 10 competition projects including electrician, flotation worker, CNC lathe, chemical inspection, capacitor core cover welding, computer program design, e-commerce, etc. The participants are students from universities, vocational colleges, technical colleges, and about 300 employees from various enterprises and institutions in the city.

The capacitor core cover welding (comprehensive group) competition was held on September 12th at Anhui Industrial Vocational and Technical College, with a total of 38 contestants participating. During the competition, facing fierce competition, company employees Zhang Hongli and Yu Xiaoman stood out with their profound professional qualities and rigorous practical abilities in the core group of capacitor core cover welding, including core group marking, threading positioning sleeve, core group welding lead out end cover plate, solder joint quality control, and on-site 6S management. They won high praise from the judges and achieved excellent results in first and second place respectively. This not only reflects the personal functional skills of the two contestants and the style of industrial workers in the new era of the company, but also highlights the high level of talent cultivation in the company's skilled talent team.
