From October 26th to 28th, the company's labor union, together with the Human Resources Department and Equipment Power Department, successfully held the 2023 Employee Skills Competition. This competition includes two projects: forklift and electrician. Each project assessment is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical operation. More than 40 employees from various production units of the company actively registered to participate.

After completing the theoretical exam on October 26th, the practical exams for the two projects were held on October 27th and 28th respectively at Tongling Vocational and Technical College and Vocational Center. The forklift practical examination has put forward higher requirements for the accuracy and balance of the participants. Contestants need to move, pile and stack 4 pallets in two batches within the specified time, with one steel pipe placed at each corner of each pallet as a support. This not only tests their driving skills, but also requires them to have a deep understanding and mastery of the characteristics of the goods; The content of the electrician practical examination is "Design, installation, debugging, and PLC transformation of the forward and reverse Y - △ voltage reduction starting control circuit". Participants are required to correctly design the three-phase motor voltage reduction starting control circuit diagram, install the circuit, and conduct power on testing. They are also required to draw the PLC electrical wiring diagram in a standardized manner, write the PLC ladder diagram program, install the PLC control circuit, and complete the program input and power on test.

During the competition, the contestants constantly challenged themselves, demonstrating their superb skills of stability and accuracy, as well as good psychological resilience and safety awareness, showcasing a spirit of high fighting spirit. After intense competition and comprehensive evaluation of the theoretical and practical exam results of the two projects, the forklift project was awarded one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and one each of the first, second, and third prizes for the electrician project.
