From June 12th to 16th, the working group meetings on "National Standards for Capacitors for Damping Absorption Circuits of High Voltage DC Transmission System Converter Valves" and "Energy Industry Standards for DC Support Capacitors for Flexible DC Transmission Converter Valves" were held in Tongling, hosted by Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Research Institute Co., Ltd., a affiliated unit of the National Power Capacitor Standardization Committee and the National High Voltage DC Transmission Equipment Standardization Committee, and undertaken by Tongfeng Company. A total of 87 experts and representatives from State Grid Corporation of China, Southern Power Grid Corporation, relevant research institutes and enterprises attended. The Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Company, Huang Mingqiang, the General Manager of the Company, Bao Junhua, the Executive Vice General Manager of the Company, and the Chief Engineer, Chu Songchao, attended the relevant meeting activities.  

The attending experts and representatives conducted rigorous and serious discussions on the draft for soliciting opinions on the revision of the two standards, and reached a consensus on the handling opinions. They also clarified the next step of the work plan, successfully completing all the tasks of the meeting and laying a good foundation for the final formation of the standard review. The revision of the two standards can more fully and clearly reflect the technical and safety requirements of the product, which is the coordination and improvement of the existing product standard system, and has important guiding significance for further strengthening the safety performance of the product.  

Enterprise leadership and participation in standard setting are conducive to enhancing communication within the industry, grasping the direction of industry development, and improving the market competitiveness of enterprises. Up to now, the company has led or participated in the revision of more than ten national and industry standards.
