On the afternoon of September 4th, Wu Tiandong, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, and his delegation visited our company for inspection and research on the implementation of the Trade Union Law. Li Chunfa, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, and other relevant department heads accompanied the research. The Secretary of the Party Committee of the company, Cheng Rongshun, the Chairman of the Trade Union, He Shide, and leaders of trade unions at all levels attended the report meeting.   

The inspection team carefully listened to Chairman He's detailed report. In recent years, the leadership team of the Party, government, and workers of Tongfeng Company has closely focused on economic construction, wholeheartedly relying on employees to run the enterprise, and taking the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of employees as the center of trade union work. They have carried out work in various aspects such as factory affairs transparency, democratic evaluation of cadres, cultural life, medical insurance, etc., and have achieved good results. The company has won the "Best Economic Benefit Award in Anhui Province" for 14 consecutive times, and was awarded the "National May Day Labor Award" by the All China Federation of Trade Unions in 2001. Since the promulgation of the new Trade Union Law in October last year, the company has vigorously carried out publicity and learning through various channels such as broadcasting, monthly magazines, and shop windows. 200 copies of the Trade Union Law have been distributed to various trade union groups, covering more than 90% of the learning area. Employees have also learned to use the Trade Union Law to defend their legitimate rights and interests in production and work.

After listening to the report, Wu Tiandong fully affirmed the achievements and effectiveness of the company's implementation of the Trade Union Law. At the same time, he pointed out that the work of enterprise trade unions should start from reality, focus on safeguarding the rights and interests of employees, and make trade unions a bridge and link between employees and enterprises. I hope that Tongfeng Company can further deepen and persistently implement the Trade Union Law, and set a positive example for the trade union work in Tongling City.
