From October 13th to 19th, 2008, the company organized some units and departments to participate in the 104th (Guangzhou) Import and Export Commodity Fair. During the exhibition, leaders such as Shu Qingtao, Deputy Director of the Municipal People's Congress, and Niu Aiping, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, visited the Tongfeng booth to understand and inquire about the trade situation of the exhibition. They expressed satisfaction with the various exhibits displayed by the company, especially locomotive capacitors, SMD crystal resonators and other products, which received attention from foreign investors.

According to Manager Zhang Qinxin of the Import and Export Branch, the number of exhibitors at this trade fair (Phase I) has significantly increased, while the number of buyers has decreased significantly. The number of people in Europe and America has significantly decreased, and the main sources of foreign investment are still Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia. Specifically for Copper Peak, due to the strong professional characteristics of both thin film and crystal production chains, general trade buyers have a low understanding of them, and the company's scope of seeking business opportunities is limited. In addition, there has been a significant increase in the number of domestic peer companies participating in exhibitions, which reflects the intensification of industry competition and has led many companies to turn their attention to the international market.

Although no transactions were reached at the first phase of the Canton Fair, a lot of useful information was collected, laying a certain foundation for the company to formulate ideas and measures for next year's export work, and to cope with and overcome the economic crisis.
